Rashtriya Bajrang Dal threatens state of launching agitation against Rohingya, "consequence upon government'' | KNO

Jammu, January 21 (KNO) : Activists of Bajrang Dal in Monday protest against Rohingya immigrants living in Jammu and demanded that they be 'driven out'. According to KNO correspondent, the protesters assembled and raised slogans against Rohingya and Bangladeshi immigrants, outside Rajbhavan. Rakesh Bajrangi, state president BD, said that time and again the issue has been raised but successive governments have failed to drive out the immigrants. "We have assembled outside Governor House to wake him up to take action," Rakesh said. He threatened Governor led administration of directors consequences in the region if Rohingya and Bangladeshi immigrants are not asked to leave the state. " We are going to launch an agitation to drive them out, consequences of which will all be upon the government," Rakesh said. Activists of right-wing group RBD, last Sunday had given state a week's ultimatum to deport them. The protesters wielded trident while raising slogans.(KNO)
